It is fair to say that the inaugural brunch was a resounding success. We extend our heartiest thanks to Laurent Douek for all the effort he invested on our behalf to bring this excellent presentation together - and for introducing Ohad Talmor - a professional New York Jazz musician - to us, whose profound expertise and savvy hands-on approach, crowned the session. The presentation gave the participants an insight into what jazz music is about: the diverse background of this music, the different movements in this music - and accordingly - which musicians played an important role in the evolution of this music. In addition, hints concerning a discography, reference books, stores, jazz festivals, jazz clubs, etc. were introduced. The group was also treated to an absolutely delicious and varied Thai Buffet. This delectable feast for 30 people was single handedly, planned, prepared and presented by the session's host: Chutima Saravari. Many thanks for your hard work Chutima - the result was stunning! Moreover, thanks to all of you who attended - for putting aside personal time to be a part of this - as well as the positive, constructive feedback.
