All the Leolux people including myself dreamed
and continue to dream of a more beautiful, more comfortable and more
pleasant world. An environment that mellows people because it gives
them the time and peace to open up to each other! I wish you much
pleasure in life with the seating concept you have dreamed of and
which Leolux has created for you.

ANIMATED PEOPLE CARE FOR
ARTFUL PRODUCTS!
Animated people
Leolux tells of inspired
people who have incorporated their ideas on pleasant living into the
products they have created. Each Leolux product with its unique
individuality is a testament to its origins that, once recognised,
forges a permanent bond.
Today, past and present
merge together in almost seventy years of Leolux know-how and
expertise: dreamers, thinkers, and doers who knew and still know that
Leolux products must serve and fascinate people.
Leolux tells of dreams,
wishes and memories.

Unique
design
Every product produced on a
commercial scale has its own unique design. Originally the function of
a product defined its form, and not much thought was given to the
relationship between the components out of which the product was made.
Advances in technology created both the time and the opportunity to
ponder design alternatives, and thus the form of a product became more
and more important. On this basis Leolux has established design as an
essential component in its development and production processes.

Characteristics
of seating concepts
Leolux is more than just
furniture. It expresses a LIFESTYLE OF DISTINCTIVE INDIVIDUALITY. That’s
why Leolux refers to its creations as “seating concepts”. Seating
concepts are items of furniture with remarkable characteristics –
drawn by creative designers who create furniture with its own
distinctive individuality.
This “distinctive
individuality” is expressed in design, functionality, flexibility or
mobility. The Tänzer with its flexible width; Pupilla’s and Rooby
Lounge’s many applications; the “Electro Motion” models Panta
Rhei and Helical with electrical components to adjust the
level of comfort; Archipel, Papageno and Pallone with their
provocative design; they are all examples of Leolux seating concepts.
ARCHIPEL
design: Hugo de Ruiter – 2004 Why
continually more new products?
Every well-designed
product mirrors the period in which it was created. Lifestyle
influences the ultimate form of a product.
Changing attitudes towards the way in which we live, the size of the
family unit,
changes in working habits, the ways in which we use our free time to
relax, and the standard of living- all these factors combine to
determine what we think about how we live.
The function of furniture is constantly reassessed and it is the task
of the designer to react to these ever shifting attitudes. The
increased importance of audio and video equipment with its dominant
shapes has had a marked influence on our domestic lives.
Even the technical side of furniture production is developing and
changing rapidly.
New materials, environmental demands, the cost of raw materials and
working conditions, all exert a continual influence on furniture as a
whole.
It is not enough to simply readapt existing products in order to
satisfy the demands determined by our environment. By creating a
completely new generation of designs we can make the best possible use
of newly-acquired know-ledge and techniques.
That is why Leolux is constantly developing new products, in
co-operation with a large number of designers.

About tall and small people - with corresponding requirements.
People do not come in
standard sizes. They are taller or smaller than average and have
wishes which cannot be fulfilled by standard furniture. After thorough
research Leolux has thought up some creative solutions by means of
which the individual wishes can be met.
Height and depth adjusters,
as well as massage devices and heating elements: they provide seating
pleasure of the highest level. Furthermore they are solutions
that are suitable for a large number of models, so that you don't have
to abandon your favourite seating concept because for example the
seat is too high or too deep. Thus Leolux is able to offer an equally
comfortable seat to any customer - whether tall, small or somewhere in
between.

Warranty
Leolux guarantees the
impeccable quality of its furniture. What exactly do we mean with
this? The Leolux warranty does not only offer help after an accident
– this is not even a priority. The Leolux warranty is first and
foremost security. The security of real craftsmanship. The security of
high levels of technical quality and long lasting practical value. The
security of aesthetic, contemporary design. The security of very good
value for money. The security of knowing that the furniture you have
chosen looks just as good in reality as in the Annual.
The Leolux warranty, that
is the security of a factory standing behind a brand name, a factory
that fully guarantees your furniture and will continue to fulfil your
demands many years from now.
That is what we mean when
we say that: “Leolux guarantees the quality of its furniture.” A
one-year warranty is given on construction, workmanship, upholstery
padding and lacquer finishes, motors and mechanisms.
